Mark Spencer
Mark is a Phoenix, Arizona–based nonprofit leader, former law enforcement officer, and Christian teacher. He is the co‑founder and president of Bema Investments, a nonprofit organization that focuses on teaching Judeo‑Christian leadership principles and supporting charitable outreach efforts. Before founding Bema Investments, Mark spent 25 years with the Phoenix Police Department, and he served as president of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association (2007–2011), representing thousands of officers. He also has a background in ministry and education, holding a graduate degree in exegetical theology and previously served as a teaching pastor at Cave Creek Bible Church. Mark has been active in public policy and media discussions on law enforcement and civic issues, and has worked with Judicial Watch since 2012.
Marty Thompson
Marty is dedicated to helping Believers embody their faith and purpose, especially within challenging missional contexts. With over 22 years of experience mentoring church leaders, Marty brings a wealth of knowledge. His focus is on transformational growth, addressing everything from family dynamics to spiritual well-being, ensuring a holistic approach to the Christian life. Marty's input is designed to help Christians enhance leadership skills and deepening their connection to their calling all within a faith-centered framework. Marty integrates faith with practical leadership strategies.
Stephen Hustedde
Has over 30 years of experience in higher education, including teaching, curriculum development, and faculty mentoring. He holds a Master of Education (Educational Media) from Arizona State University. Stephen studied theology at Dallas Theological Seminary and is the owner/developer associated with Tricalico Interactive, a Phoenix-based business. Has also worked in instructional technology roles at Arizona State University prior to his community college career.
Blake Carlson – Illustrations
Is a retired Police Sergeant from the Phoenix Police Department. His tenure with PPD spanned January 1995 through July 2022. Blake earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northern Arizona University and received the 2022 “One Another Award” from Oklahoma Wesleyan University (class of 1985).
